SAEL Industries has announced a landmark ₹22,000 crore investment in Andhra Pradesh, spanning renewable energy, biomass power, data centres, and port development. The multi-sector initiative aims to boost the state’s clean energy capacity, strengthen its digital infrastructure, and create large-scale employment opportunities.
The investment includes 1,750 MW of solar and battery energy storage systems (BESS) in Kadapa and Kurnool districts under SECI and NHPC tenders, and 200 MW of biomass power projects across eight 25 MW plants utilizing agricultural residue, driving rural job creation. Additionally, SAEL plans to establish a ₹3,000 crore hyperscale data centre to leverage Andhra Pradesh’s growing digital ecosystem, alongside a ₹4,000 crore port development project to enhance maritime logistics and exports.
Collectively, these initiatives are expected to generate 7,000 direct and 70,000 indirect jobs, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a hub for sustainable and digital growth.
