Rupesh Gupta has been elevated to the role of Chief Financial Officer at UPL, taking on a critical leadership position within the company’s global crop protection business. In his new role, he will oversee capital allocation, strategic investments, financial governance, and digital finance transformation, while driving sustainable and profitable growth across the approximately $5 billion enterprise.

Rupesh brings over seven years of experience within UPL, most recently serving as CFO of UPL Sustainable Agri Solutions Ltd. During his tenure, he played a key role in major fundraising initiatives involving global investors such as TPG, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and Brookfield.

Prior to joining UPL, he held leadership roles at Cipla and ITC Limited, building strong expertise in finance strategy, M&A, and performance management. He began his career at Lodha & Co.
