Reliance Retail has appointed Sandeep Karwa as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AJIO.com, its flagship fashion and lifestyle e-commerce platform. A seasoned digital commerce leader with more than two decades of experience across fashion retail, marketplace ecosystems, and technology-led business transformation, Karwa will spearhead AJIO’s next phase of growth in India’s highly competitive online fashion sector.

In his new role, Sandeep Karwa will focus on strengthening customer acquisition, scaling AI and machine learning capabilities across the shopping experience, and expanding AJIO’s vendor and partner ecosystem to enhance market leadership.

Before joining AJIO, Karwa served as Country Head at Coupang Taiwan, where he led business operations, product management, and supply chain functions. Earlier, he spent over 12 years at Flipkart in several leadership positions, including Vice President and Business Head for Fashion and Softlines, Vice President of Flipkart Ads Platform, and head of Flipkart Quick and Flipkart Wholesale.
