Cairn Oil and Gas has elevated Rakesh Agiwal to Chief Strategy & Planning Officer, marking another milestone in his long-standing leadership journey within the energy and resources sector. In his new role, Rakesh will lead the strategy function, driving digital transformation initiatives, strengthening enterprise planning platforms, and enabling scalable, secure, and future-ready operations aligned with business objectives.

Rakesh brings over two decades of experience at Cairn, having served as Chief Policy and Regulatory Officer and CFO – BU. His journey includes strong commercial and finance experience with Hindustan Coca Cola Limited, BPL Soft Energy, Ralliwolf Limited, and Fort Gloster. This elevation positions the organisation for long-term growth.
