Premlata has been appointed as Executive Director (HR) at NTPC Limited, marking a significant milestone in her distinguished career spanning more than three decades in human resources leadership.

Throughout her tenure at NTPC, Premlata has played a pivotal role in advancing talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, workforce transformation, and leadership development initiatives. Her extensive experience and deep understanding of the organization have contributed significantly to strengthening NTPC’s people practices and fostering a high-performance culture.

Prior to her elevation, she served as Chief General Manager (Regional Head of HR), Western Region-II, NTPC Limited, while also holding the position of Chief Human Resources Officer at NTPC-SAIL Power Company Limited (NSPCL). In these leadership roles, she successfully drove strategic HR initiatives, leadership capability development, and workforce excellence programs.
