Philips India Limited – Healthcare Division has appointed Asha B V as Senior Director and Head of Global Software Engineering for Image Guided Therapy (IGT) Systems, based in Bengaluru.
Asha brings more than two decades of experience in software engineering, systems development, programme management and engineering leadership. She has been with Philips since 2023, most recently serving as Senior Director of Global Software Engineering.
Before joining Philips, Asha spent over 20 years with Bosch across India and Germany, holding leadership roles including General Manager and Deputy General Manager. At Bosch, she led software, algorithm, application and systems engineering for automotive passive safety products and managed global development operations.
Her earlier experience also includes programme management, quality management, software development and systems engineering across international automotive projects.
In her new role, Asha will lead global software engineering for Philips’ IGT Systems business, bringing her experience in complex engineering programmes and technology leadership to the healthcare domain.
