In his new role, Sunthar will drive the development of intelligent warehouses and factories through Engineering Digital Twins, Physical AI and Vision AI, using predictive intelligence, simulation and intelligent automation to transform industrial operations.
Sunthar brings more than 20 years of experience across digital transformation, IoT, industrial technology, PLM and business development. Before joining PepsiCo, he spent more than six years at Cognizant, most recently serving as Market Leader, IoT & Sustainability for the Retail, Consumer Goods, Travel & Hospitality verticals in North America.
Earlier, he held leadership roles at V-Soft Consulting Group, Siemens PLM Software, Onward Technologies and PTC, where he focused on IoT, digital manufacturing, PLM, IT-OT convergence and strategic partnerships. He began his career as an engineer at Ashok Leyland and later worked at Tata Elxsi.
At PepsiCo, Sunthar will focus on bridging physical and digital environments to build intelligent, connected and adaptive enterprise capabilities.
