NeuroDX, one of the 12 startups selected under the prestigious IndiaAI Mission, has introduced MANAS-1, a groundbreaking 400 million parameter brain foundation model at the India AI Impact Summit.
Built on Indian clinical data, MANAS-1 is designed to decode brain electrical activity and enable early diagnosis of neurological disorders. By analyzing EEG signals through transformer-based architectures, the model functions as a decision support tool for clinicians and researchers.
The startup reports that MANAS-1 achieves over 95% accuracy in identifying biomarkers in epilepsy and other mental health disorders—marking a significant leap in AI-driven healthcare innovation.
Founded by Kailash Sati and Siddharth Panwar, NeuroDX is also working on a 20 billion parameter EEG-focused model. The ambitious goal is to deliver affordable, non-invasive diagnostics and pave the way for future brain-computer interface applications.
This milestone highlights India’s growing strength in AI-powered healthcare solutions, with NeuroDX at the forefront of transforming brain research and diagnostics.
