Under the MoU, the collaboration will focus on digital health, data systems, technology transfer and knowledge sharing, enabling the exchange of expertise in delivering modern healthcare services across emerging economies.The agreement was signed by Dilma Rousseff, President of NDB, and Dr Devi Shetty, Founder and Chairman of Narayana Health, in Jaipur on the sidelines of the First BRICS Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting. The partnership follows Rousseff’s visit to Narayana Health City in Bengaluru in March 2026, where she observed the organisation’s approach to affordable, high-quality, patient-focused healthcare supported by digital technologies.
The collaboration highlights how digital healthcare expertise can be shared across emerging economies, potentially accelerating smart hospital development and technology-enabled care.
