Kuehne+Nagel, the Switzerland-headquartered global logistics provider, has inaugurated a new Tech Centre in Chennai, expanding its global engineering footprint and strengthening its digital logistics capabilities.
The centre will focus on developing proprietary digital products, including SALOG, Kuehne+Nagel’s core platform for managing sea and air freight shipments. By early 2027, the facility is expected to have around 250 technology experts contributing to global product development and engineering.
Marcus Claesson, Chief Information Officer, Kuehne+Nagel, said that developing core platforms in-house enables the company to innovate faster, scale globally and continuously enhance customer experience.
