US-based advisory firm Keystone has launched its India division in Bengaluru, expanding its presence to support companies on technology, legal, regulatory, tax, intellectual property and competition matters. Its clients include Microsoft, Meta, Amazon and Goldman Sachs.
Keystone CEO Jeff Marowits said Bengaluru was a natural choice because of its strong talent pool across software, engineering, economics and strategic advisory. The firm plans to expand its Indian workforce over the next two years. AI is also becoming an increasingly important part of Keystone’s advisory work, including training-data valuation, algorithmic audits and technology assessments. Jeff Marrowits highlighted the regulatory uncertainty surrounding AI, noting that governments and courts will increasingly need to address the implications of rapidly changing technologies. The Bengaluru division will therefore serve as both a local operating base and a strategic capability hub as Keystone expands its technology and advisory expertise in India.
