KENT RO Systems has invested over ₹250 crore in a new manufacturing plant in Sector 159, Noida, marking its entry into the home energy market through its new division, KENT New Energy.

The facility will manufacture lithium battery packs and solar hybrid inverters, with an installed annual capacity of 3.5 GWh. The company plans to expand capacity to 10 GWh within six months, strengthening its presence in residential energy storage and solar power solutions.

KENT Chairman and Managing Director Mahesh Gupta said the company aims to generate ₹1,000 crore in revenue from its new energy business within two to three years.

The expansion comes as KENT targets revenue of approximately ₹1,750 crore in FY27, compared with ₹1,350 crore in FY26, representing nearly 30% growth.

The company will distribute its products through existing dealers, retail outlets, online channels and solar installation partners. It is also planning a separate ₹500 crore manufacturing facility in the Yamuna Expressway industrial region over the next three years.

The move expands KENT’s portfolio beyond water purification and air solutions into home energy storage.
