Joe Paul Philip Appointed as Head, Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) – India, Egypt & Turkey at Viatris

Joe Paul Philip has joined Viatris as Head, Manufacturing Science & Technology (MS&T) for India, Egypt & Turkey, bringing more than two decades of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing science, technical operations and product lifecycle management. In his new role, he will lead MS&T teams across the three markets, focusing on product lifecycle management, technology transfers, manufacturing excellence, process validation and continuous improvement for global markets.

Before joining Viatris, he served as Vice President & Head – Global Manufacturing Science & Technology at Strides Pharma Science. He previously spent more than eight years with Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, where he held senior roles including Vice President & Global Head – Manufacturing Science & Technology and Vice President & Head – Global Process Excellence and New Products. His earlier career includes leadership positions at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Sandoz, covering technical services, global external manufacturing, process development, technology transfers, validation and new product launches. He has also co-authored the AAPS-Springer book Technology Transfer: Drug Product Manufacturing Process.
