Jason Bennett has been appointed Global Vice President of AWS Startups and Venture Capital, returning to his roots of supporting startups and venture ecosystems globally. In this role, Jason will focus on accelerating innovation, enabling founders, VCs, and the broader startup community to scale, and shaping the future of industries through cloud adoption and AI-driven solutions.

A longtime Amazonian with over 14 years at AWS, Jason previously served as VP, US Enterprise, and GM, US-Enterprise Leader, driving enterprise cloud adoption and digital transformation across North America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe. He was the first to lead AWS’s Greenfield business, helping enterprises early in their cloud journey, and has consistently delivered measurable business growth by aligning technology solutions with customer outcomes.

With more than 20 years of experience in technology sales and leadership, Jason is recognized for his collaborative, inclusive leadership style and passion for developing top talent. His early experience leading IT support and channel sales in the Pacific Northwest has informed his deep understanding of customer-centric innovation.
