Piramal Finance has elevated Syed Imtiaz Ahmed to the position of Chief Business Officer, where he will be responsible for shaping business strategy and driving growth across key lending segments. In this expanded leadership role, he is expected to further strengthen the company’s market presence and accelerate performance across diversified financial portfolios.

Syed Imtiaz Ahmed has been associated with Piramal Finance for over three years, during which he served as Business Head and played a key role in business expansion and operational excellence. Prior to joining Piramal Finance, he spent more than 20 years at Axis Bank, holding several senior leadership positions, including Executive Vice President and Business Head – Mortgages.

With extensive expertise in retail lending, sales strategy, and channel management, he brings strong domain knowledge and proven leadership experience.
