Bank of London and The Middle East (BLME) has appointed Graham Moffitt as Chief Risk Officer on a permanent basis, following his tenure in the role on an interim contract. He also joins the Bank’s Executive Committee, reinforcing its governance and risk leadership framework.
Moffitt brings more than four decades of international banking and risk management experience. Prior to BLME, he operated through Advalorem Risk Advisory and held interim CRO assignments, including at Bank of China in London. He previously served as Chief Risk Officer at Weatherbys Private Bank and spent over 12 years at HSBC in senior risk leadership roles. His earlier career includes leadership positions at GE Capital, Hilco Capital, Bank of America, Lloyds Banking Group, and Security Pacific National Bank.
With deep expertise across credit risk, structured finance, private banking, and trade finance, Moffitt will lead BLME’s risk governance agenda and support its long-term, sustainable growth strategy.
