India-US Defence Innovation Summit to Strengthen Cross-Border Tech Collaboration

The third edition of the India-US Defence Acceleration Ecosystem INDUS-X Summit is set to take place at Stanford University on September 9-10. Hosted by the US India Strategic and Partnership Forum (USISPF) and Stanford’s Gordian Knot Centre for National Security Innovation, the summit will gather top defence leaders from India and the US to enhance cross-border defence innovation ecosystems. Notable speakers include former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

The event aims to foster advanced technology partnerships, bringing together key policymakers, startups, venture capitalists, and industry leaders from both nations. This year’s theme focuses on leveraging private capital and investment opportunities to strengthen defence innovation. The summit will also feature a Tech Expo showcasing cutting-edge technologies from defence and aerospace startups.

Launched in June 2023, INDUS-X seeks to expand strategic technology partnerships and defence cooperation between the two countries. The Stanford summit is poised to further solidify these efforts, creating a robust ecosystem for defence innovation.
