InCountry Expands Global Footprint with New Funding and AI-Powered Data Protection Platform Startup Stories

InCountry, a pioneer in AI-driven data protection and sovereignty solutions, has secured $10 million in fresh funding led by Arbor Ventures, with participation from Caffeinated Ventures and Accelerator Ventures. The funding will accelerate the global rollout of AgentCloak, a next-generation AI data protection platform designed to safeguard sensitive information while enabling compliance across borders.

AgentCloak introduces an advanced approach to AI privacy, trust, and compliance by generalizing sensitive data rather than merely masking it. For example, it can transform “headache” into “minor neurological condition,” “Berlin” into “EU,” or an age of “32” into a broader “30-39” range. This ensures enterprises can use AI responsibly while meeting regulations such as the EU AI Act, China’s PIPL, and Saudi Arabia’s PDPL.

The solution is powered by Sovereign AI, trained on local names, addresses, and terminology to provide country-specific accuracy. Backed by digital twin technology, AgentCloak integrates seamlessly into agentic AI workflows as an MCP Server, MCP Proxy, or A2A Proxy, supporting secure data training, RAG pipelines, and controlled identity-based access.

With this funding, InCountry will advance R&D, partnerships, and global expansion, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for enterprises and governments navigating AI’s future responsibly.
