IIMK LIVE, the business incubator of the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode, has partnered with Walmart Global Tech to launch DEEP LEAP, a 12-month incubation programme for early-stage deeptech startups.
The programme has a ₹2.89 crore corpus, including ₹1.5 crore earmarked for equity and seed funding for selected startups. Around 1,500 applicants will be shortlisted to 50 ventures, with focus areas spanning AI, quantum computing, robotics, autonomous systems, space, aerospace, semiconductors and photonics.
Selected founders will receive support across product validation, go-to-market strategy, investor readiness and business development, providing a structured pathway from technology development to commercialisation.
Why It Matters

The partnership combines IIM Kozhikode’s incubation capabilities with Walmart Global Tech’s technology expertise to strengthen India’s next generation of deeptech startups.
