HrdWyr, a global fabless semiconductor product company, has raised $13 million in a Series A funding round led by Ideaspring Capital, with participation from Singularity AMC, Avatar Growth Capital, and Persistent Systems.

The funding will support the development of HrdWyr’s AI-based System-on-Chip (AISoC) products and help expand its presence across key international markets. Founded by Ramamurthy Sivakumar, the company focuses on designing AI-native semiconductor chips for edge computing and Physical AI applications across consumer electronics, EVs, industrial systems, and data centres.

HrdWyr’s chips are built to process AI workloads directly on devices, enabling faster real-time decision-making, lower latency, and improved energy efficiency. As a fabless semiconductor company, it specializes in chip architecture and IP innovation rather than manufacturing.

The company recently partnered with boAt to strengthen its customer ecosystem and accelerate adoption of AI-powered semiconductor solutions built in India for global markets.
