Hilti Group has elevated Gautam Sharma to Director – Business Development (Energy & Industry), underscoring his proven leadership in driving strategic growth, CXO engagement, and sustainability-focused business outcomes across complex industrial ecosystems.

In this role, Gautam will lead the Energy & Industry segment for India, steering integrated global and local strategies aligned with organizational priorities. He is responsible for advancing go-to-market execution, leading high-value techno-commercial engagements, and building agile teams focused on value-driven growth and long-term impact.

Prior to joining Hilti, Gautam spent over a decade at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, where he led large-scale B2B and B2C initiatives, significantly enhancing revenue growth, expanding market segments, and strengthening key account portfolios. His leadership also enabled digital transformation through CRM integration and IoT-driven solutions.
