GreyLabs AI, the Bengaluru-based voice intelligence startup transforming customer interactions in the BFSI industry, has raised INR 85 crore (approximately USD 9.6 million) in its Series A funding round. The round was led by Elevation Capital, with participation from existing investor Z47 and several prominent angel investors. The announcement coincides with the launch of GreyLabs’ agentic voice AI platform, designed to automate and humanize customer engagement for banks, insurers, and non-banking financial companies across India.

Founded in 2023 by Aman Goel, Harshita Srivastava, Shivam Gupta, Raj Sanghavi, Debabrata Basak, and Shreyas Patel, GreyLabs combines voice AI with speech and email analytics to enhance compliance, operational efficiency, and customer experience. Its AI agents handle use cases such as customer service, collections, renewals, and verification calls, supporting multiple Indian languages to ensure inclusivity across the country’s diverse customer base.

In just 18 months, GreyLabs has processed hundreds of millions of conversations for over 50 financial institutions, including RBL Bank, AU Small Finance Bank, Axis Bank Finance, IDFC FIRST Bank, SBI Life Insurance, and Groww. With the fresh capital, the company plans to expand its team, strengthen R&D, and scale operations in Bengaluru and Delhi, targeting 300+ BFSI clients and billions of monthly customer interactions, establishing itself as a leader in conversational AI alongside players like Uniphore, Mihup, and Contiinex.
