Google has appointed Risha Magu as Director, Communications & Public Affairs, marking a significant leadership move in the technology and corporate communications sector. She joins Google after nearly four years at Meta, where she served as Director Communications – Policy & Innovation for India.

Risha Magu shared the announcement on LinkedIn, reflecting on her journey at Meta as a phase of “bold iteration” and professional growth. With more than 25 years of exemplary experience across consumer technology, corporate communications, and brand leadership, she brings deep expertise in brand strategy, integrated campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and crisis management.

Before her tenure at Meta, Magu held leadership roles at HMD Global, Microsoft India, and Nokia India, building a strong track record in strategic communications and public affairs across global technology organizations.
