Enterprise AI
Freshworks has agreed to acquire Robusta Dev Ltd., an Israeli startup that uses artificial intelligence to investigate IT disruptions, identify root causes and recommend corrective actions. Announced on October 28, 2026, the acquisition’s financial terms were not disclosed.
The technology will be integrated into Freshservice, Freshworks’ IT service management platform, to improve incident management and IT operations.
Robusta’s AI engine is designed to analyse system disruptions using business service information, configuration management database (CMDB) dependencies and change histories to identify where problems originate and suggest resolutions.
Freshworks also plans to combine the technology with its FireHydrant incident orchestration capabilities to accelerate incident resolution and reduce recurring outages.
Engineers will retain control over implementation, with the ability to review and approve AI-recommended changes before they reach live systems.
Robusta co-founders Natan Yellin and Arik Alon, along with the team, will join Freshworks. Founded in 2021, Robusta marks Freshworks’ third planned acquisition in 2026, following FireHydrant and Torii, as the company expands its AI-powered IT operations portfolio.
