Fino Payments Bank Ltd. has appointed Arijit Chatterjee as Senior Vice President and Head of Credit Risk. In his new role, he will lead the bank’s credit risk agenda.
Arijit brings more than 20 years of experience across credit policy, underwriting, retail lending, mortgages, SME credit and risk management. Before joining Fino Payments Bank, he served as Head of Credit Policy for Retail, Rural and SME at DCB Bank. He also spent over seven years at ICICI Bank in senior credit policy and mortgage risk roles.
His earlier career includes credit leadership assignments at Axis Bank, ING Vysya Bank, now Kotak Mahindra Bank, HDB Financial Services, Fullerton India Credit Company and Cholamandalam DBS Finance.
His extensive experience across lending and credit risk is expected to support Fino Payments Bank’s risk management priorities and responsible lending strategy.
