Equirus Asset Management has appointed Visionary Leader Dilip Kumar RV as an Independent Director on its board, strengthening the firm’s governance framework and strategic oversight as it continues to expand its investment and asset management platform.

Dilip Kumar brings more than two decades of experience across venture capital, financial services, and institutional fund management. He has been closely associated with the evolution of India’s venture capital ecosystem and has supported the growth of several investment initiatives and portfolio companies.

He was part of the founding team of SIDBI Venture Capital and has been associated with the organization since its inception in 1999. During his tenure, he held several senior leadership roles including Vice President, Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, and later Chief Executive Officer.

With extensive expertise in fund management, investment strategy, and governance, his appointment is expected to strengthen Equirus Asset Management’s long-term growth and institutional leadership.
