Devendra Pareek Takes Charge as Chief Information Security Officer at National Skill Development Corporation Leadership

The National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) has appointed Devendra Pareek as its new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), marking a significant step toward strengthening its cybersecurity and digital governance framework. In this role, Pareek will lead enterprise-wide information security strategy, cyber risk management, and governance initiatives, while enhancing NSDC’s digital resilience and regulatory compliance posture.

Prior to joining NSDC, Pareek served as CISO at Clix Capital, where he spearheaded cybersecurity initiatives supporting NBFC operations in a highly regulated financial environment. His earlier leadership roles at AU Small Finance Bank and Kogta Financial (India) Limited involved driving regulatory compliance, IT audits, infrastructure modernization, and comprehensive cyber risk mitigation programs.

With a career spanning over two decades, Pareek brings deep expertise across BFSI security, governance, risk and compliance (GRC), and large-scale network security transformations. He has also held key technical and consulting roles at global technology leaders including IBM, ANB Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Dimension Data, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise.

At NSDC, his appointment is expected to play a pivotal role in securing digital skilling platforms and strengthening trust across India’s evolving skill development ecosystem.
