Britannia Industries Limited has announced the appointment of Rakshit Hargave as its Chief Executive Officer and additional Whole-time Director for a five-year term, effective December 15, 2025.

Hargave joins Britannia after successfully leading Birla Opus, the paints venture of the Aditya Birla Group, where he played a key role in building the brand from inception, setting up six integrated manufacturing facilities, expanding nationwide distribution, and nurturing a high-performing leadership team.

With over three decades of experience in the FMCG sector, he has held senior leadership roles at Beiersdorf (NIVEA), Hindustan Unilever (HUL), Kimberly-Clark Lever, Lakme Lever, and Jubilant FoodWorks, where he helped launch the iconic Domino’s 30-minute delivery model. An alumnus of IIT (BHU) Varanasi and FMS Delhi, Hargave brings deep strategic, operational, and global expertise to his new role.
