Bandhan Bank has appointed Thilak Rao as Vice President & Zonal HR Business Partner, strengthening its human resources leadership and business partnering capabilities.
He brings more than 21 years of experience across HR leadership, talent acquisition, business partnering, employee relations and workforce management, with extensive exposure to the banking and financial services sector.
Before joining Bandhan Bank, he spent around four years at Kotak Mahindra Bank, most recently serving as Vice President – Talent Acquisition, Commercial Bank. Earlier, he held HR leadership roles at Equitas Small Finance Bank and IIFL Finance, where he served as Assistant Vice President – Business HR and Zonal Head – HR, respectively.
His earlier career includes roles at Nirmal Bang Securities, Way2Wealth Securities and Sykes & Ray Equities.
In his new role, Thilak Rao will focus on supporting Bandhan Bank’s zonal HR priorities, strengthening talent management, people strategy and HR business partnering.
