Aniel most recently served as National Head – Direct, ABCD & Ecosystem Business at Aditya Birla Housing Finance, following his tenure as Circle Head, where he led a ₹12,000+ crore lending portfolio, ₹3,200+ crore annual disbursement, a ₹50 crore P&L and a 750-member team across 60 branches.
Previously, he spent more than five years with ICICI Home Finance, serving as Zonal Business Head and transforming an underperforming region from ₹30 crore to ₹100 crore in monthly business while doubling profitability.
His earlier experience includes leadership roles at ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, Pramerica Life Insurance and Exotica Housing, spanning strategy, P&L, distribution, sales, credit, operations and customer experience.
At Muthoot Homefin, Aniel will lead the affordable housing finance business with a mandate focused on growth, productivity, technology enablement, customer centricity and operational transformation.
