Siemens has appointed Akhilesh Kohli as Senior Vice President, bringing on board a seasoned leader with nearly three decades of experience in business transformation, finance modernization, shared services, and technology-driven operational excellence.

Throughout his distinguished career, Kohli has held senior leadership positions at Philips, A.P. Moller-Maersk, Macquarie Group, and Genpact, where he successfully led large-scale transformation and organizational change initiatives across global markets. At Philips, he served as Managing Director and Head of APAC Global Business Services, while at Maersk he spearheaded one of the industry’s most ambitious finance transformation programs, driving operational efficiencies and business impact across more than 130 countries.

Recognized for his expertise in Global Business Services (GBS), operating model design, automation, digital transformation, and organizational restructuring, Kohli has consistently delivered sustainable growth and enhanced enterprise performance.
