Leadership
Vardhan brings over two decades of experience across IT operations, cybersecurity, risk management, cyber resilience and business leadership. Before assuming this expanded responsibility, he served as Chief Information Security Officer at Jindal Steel & Power, which he joined in 2022 from Quess Corp.
At Jindal Steel, his responsibilities have included cybersecurity strategy, security governance, engineering and operations across IT and operational technology (OT) environments. His expanded role will extend his leadership responsibilities across IT and group-level information security.
Throughout his career, Vardhan has held leadership positions at Quess Corp, PepsiCo, Adani Group, Cairn India and CMS IT Services. He began his career at Larsen & Toubro, working in IT infrastructure and operations before moving into cybersecurity leadership.
He holds an MBA from the Indian School of Business and professional certifications including CISSP, CISA, CGEIT and CRISC.
