Abhijeet Jain Appointed as Senior Vice President – Human Resources at Alkem Laboratories Ltd

Abhijeet Jain has joined Alkem Laboratories as Senior Vice President – Human Resources, bringing nearly three decades of leadership experience across human resources, industrial relations, manufacturing operations, corporate HR and business strategy. In his new role, he will lead HR for Alkem’s manufacturing plants across India, the Taloja R&D Centre and depot operations, with a focus on organisational capability, talent development, employee engagement and workforce transformation.

Before joining Alkem, he served as Senior Vice President – HR at UltraTech Cement, where he managed HR, industrial relations, administration, CSR, legal, occupational health and community-development initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations. Earlier, he spent more than five years with Wockhardt, progressing to Senior General Manager & Head HR and overseeing HR across 10 manufacturing plants and an R&D centre. His career also includes leadership roles at TAFE – Tractors and Farm Equipment Limited, Tata Advanced Systems, Pfizer and ABB, giving him extensive exposure to manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, engineering and industrial businesses.
