Indus Towers Limited has appointed Venkatesh Tiwari as its Chief Operating Officer, reinforcing its leadership team to accelerate operational excellence and support the evolving telecom infrastructure landscape. In this role, Tiwari will lead end-to-end operations, strengthen execution capabilities, and drive efficiency across the company’s extensive nationwide network.

With over two decades of experience spanning e-commerce, telecom, and consumer businesses, Tiwari brings a strong track record of scaling high-impact operations. He joins from Amazon, where he served as Director – Operations, leading large-scale initiatives across Amazon Now, Fresh, same-day delivery, and seller fulfillment. His work played a key role in building and expanding India’s ultra-fast delivery ecosystem.

Earlier in his career, Venkatesh held leadership roles at Samsung Electronics, Bharti Airtel, and Huawei Consumer Business Group, where he developed deep expertise in operations, sales, and business transformation. His appointment highlights Indus Towers’ strategic focus on strengthening operational capabilities to enable future-ready telecom infrastructure.
