ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India (AM/NS India) has appointed S Santhana Krishnan as Head of Procurement, strengthening its leadership team with a seasoned procurement and commercial leader known for driving operational excellence and strategic value creation.

Krishnan brings extensive experience across strategic sourcing, procurement transformation, contract management, commercial operations, supplier relationship management, and supply chain optimization.

Prior to joining AM/NS India, he served as Chief Commercial Officer – Offshore Assets at Cairn Oil & Gas, Vedanta, where he oversaw complex Opex and Capex procurement programs for offshore operations. His leadership journey also includes senior roles at Konkola Copper Mines, Vedanta Group, and Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), where he played a key role in commercial transformation and procurement excellence initiatives.
