Healthtech startup Rio.ai has raised ₹43.08 crore in a pre-Series A funding round led by new investor Version One Ventures, with existing investors Xeed Ventures, Good Capital and Amplify Partner also participating.
According to regulatory filings accessed by Entrackr, Rio.ai allotted 7,130 compulsorily convertible preference shares at ₹60,415 per share. Version One Ventures invested ₹21.30 crore, followed by Xeed Ventures at ₹11.84 crore, Good Capital Fund II at ₹9.47 crore and Amplify IV PCC at ₹47 lakh.
Entrackr estimates Rio.ai’s post-money valuation at around ₹170 crore. The company plans to use the capital for working capital, capital expenditure, infrastructure and business expansion.
Founded by Ankur Agrawal and Amit Ahuja, Rio.ai is developing Rio Health, an AI-powered healthcare platform that enables users to order medicines and healthcare essentials through WhatsApp, with reported delivery times of 15–30 minutes.
The funding will support Rio.ai as it expands its AI-driven healthcare and quick-commerce platform.
