Intas Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Industry Veteran Dr. Ajay Kumar Handa as its new Executive Vice President – Research & Development (R&D), further strengthening the company’s leadership in pharmaceutical innovation.

With over three decades of experience in pharmaceutical research and development, Dr. Handa has played a pivotal role in advancing both generics and Novel Drug Delivery Systems (NDDS) across a wide spectrum of therapeutic areas. His expertise spans multiple dosage forms including solid orals, liquids, injectables, new chemical entities (NCEs), and dry powder inhalation, showcasing his ability to drive innovation across diverse product categories.
