Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company Ltd (EARC) has appointed Arun Mehta as its Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, bringing on board one of India’s most experienced banking and financial services leaders.

With more than four decades of experience, Arun has built a distinguished career across corporate banking, structured finance, capital markets, loan syndication, treasury, risk management, and financial leadership. Prior to joining EARC, he served as Managing Director of SBI Capital Markets, where he played a pivotal role in advising large corporates, supporting capital-raising initiatives, and leading complex financing transactions. During his long tenure with State Bank of India, he held several senior leadership positions across corporate banking, financial control, treasury, and strategic business functions.

Arun has also contributed as an Independent Director with organizations including DSP Finance, Axis Trustee Services, and IDBI Capital Markets Services.
