ElevenLabs establishes first India headquarters in Bengaluru to advance AI voice technology GCC

ElevenLabs has established its first India headquarters in Bengaluru, strengthening its presence in one of the country’s leading technology and innovation hubs.

The expansion was highlighted by Karnataka’s IT and BT Department, which noted that the development reflects growing global confidence in the state’s deep-tech talent ecosystem and its potential to support frontier artificial intelligence innovation.

The Bengaluru headquarters will focus on developing AI voice capabilities across all 22 officially recognised Indian languages, supporting the development of more accessible and locally relevant voice-based AI solutions. The initiative could help expand the reach of conversational AI across India’s diverse linguistic landscape, creating opportunities for applications in customer service, education, enterprise communication and digital services.

ElevenLabs’ investment further reinforces Bengaluru’s position as a destination for global AI companies seeking engineering talent and opportunities to develop products for Indian and international markets.

The expansion also highlights Karnataka’s continued efforts to attract advanced technology businesses and strengthen its standing in the global generative AI ecosystem.
