Coforge expands Kraków technology hub to support AI-led engineering growth

Coforge expands Kraków technology hub to support AI-led engineering growth GCC

Coforge is expanding its Kraków engineering centre to more than 660 engineers by 2027, up from over 375, as demand for AI-enabled engineering and specialised technology talent continues to grow.

Established in 2025 initially to support a single client engagement, the centre has evolved into a multi-client delivery hub serving customers across Europe and global markets. Its teams are focused on AI engineering, cloud transformation and modernisation, supporting clients across travel, banking, logistics, retail and enterprise services.

To accommodate the planned workforce expansion, Coforge has added more than 20,000 sq ft of workspace at the Kraków facility.

John Speight, President and EU Geo Business Leader at Coforge, highlighted Europe’s importance as a growth market and the company’s long-term commitment to the region.

Sunil Fernandes, Chief Operating Officer at Coforge, attributed the rapid expansion to rising demand for AI-enabled engineering and delivery models combining proximity, specialised talent and speed.

The investment reinforces Kraków’s role in Coforge’s European technology delivery strategy.

Why it matters:

Coforge’s Kraków expansion highlights the growing demand for AI-enabled engineering, cloud modernisation and specialised technology talent in Europe.

The multi-client hub also strengthens Coforge’s regional delivery capacity across key industries and global markets.
