Exide Energy Solutions Ltd has announced the appointment of Bhaskara A R as Chief Information Officer (CIO), marking a significant addition to its leadership team.

With over two decades of experience in IT leadership and digital transformation, Bhaskara has built a career driving technology-enabled business growth across diverse industries. Prior to joining Exide, he served as VP – Technology at Bluebird Technologies and spent over a decade at Carl Zeiss India, where he spearheaded digital transformation, IT infrastructure management, and APAC regional service delivery.

Earlier, Bhaskara also held senior IT roles at Essilor Group, leading ERP implementations, infrastructure modernization, and technology strategy. His expertise spans IT project and program management, Lean Six Sigma, operations excellence, and global technology leadership.

At Exide Energy Solutions, Bhaskara will lead the company’s digital transformation agenda, strengthen IT infrastructure, and align technology initiatives with the company’s vision of innovation-driven growth in the energy sector.
