Sutherland has announced the appointment of Alamelu Subramanian as the Global Head of Technology Practices DES, further strengthening its leadership in digital transformation and enterprise services. Based in Mumbai and operating remotely, Alamelu will be responsible for nurturing and scaling technology platforms while ensuring seamless global delivery.

With an illustrious career spanning over 27 years at Tech Mahindra, Alamelu has played pivotal roles in driving large-scale technology initiatives. As TelCo Industry Head for ServiceNow, he spearheaded the development of expertise in the telecom domain, alongside senior leadership positions such as Vice President – Delivery and Customer Delivery Head, where he successfully managed key portfolios across Europe.

Earlier in his career, Alamelu contributed significantly at Mahindra British Telecom Ltd, advancing from developer and onsite coordinator to project manager, and later serving as an OSS/BSS consultant and SME.

In his new role at Sutherland, Alamelu is set to drive innovation, strengthen client partnerships, and scale technology excellence worldwide.
