Startup Stories
Operating under the AVPL International brand, AITMC was founded in 2016 by Deep Sihag Sisai and operates across vocational education, drone training, manufacturing and assembly, R&D, and drone-as-a-service. The company says it has trained more than 1 lakh candidates since inception and has expanded into drone-focused skilling and indigenous drone manufacturing.
The company plans to deploy ₹155.03 crore of the net proceeds towards upgrading skill hubs across 50 AICTE-approved colleges, infrastructure at ITIs and polytechnic colleges in Uttar Pradesh, R&D laboratories at IIT Ropar and IIT Kanpur, and establishing a Future Tech Park in Haryana. ₹20 crore is also earmarked for debt repayment or prepayment.
AITMC reported ₹106.75 crore in standalone revenue and ₹13.38 crore profit for FY26. Its VIRAJ agricultural drone has a 10-litre payload capacity and DGCA type certification.
Why It Matters
The proposed IPO comes as India’s drone ecosystem expands across agriculture, industrial applications, surveillance and emerging technology, while strengthening the country’s domestic drone manufacturing and skilling capabilities.
