T-Mobile Launches Global Technology Centre in Hyderabad, Strengthening India’s GCC Ecosystem GCC

T-Mobile has inaugurated its new Global Technology Centre in Hyderabad, further reinforcing the city’s position as a leading destination for Global Capability Centres (GCCs). The state-of-the-art facility spans approximately 2.5 lakh square feet and will serve as a strategic hub for software engineering, cloud computing, data analytics, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), and next-generation digital solutions.

The centre is expected to scale its workforce to nearly 1,000 employees by 2027, creating significant opportunities for technology professionals and contributing to the region’s growing innovation ecosystem.

According to Chandra Gupta, Vice President of Information Technology at TMUS Global Solutions, Hyderabad was selected for its strong technology talent pool, innovation capabilities, and well-established business ecosystem that aligns with the company’s long-term growth strategy.

Telangana IT Minister D. Sridhar Babu highlighted the rapid onboarding of skilled professionals as evidence of Hyderabad’s ability to deliver world-class talent at scale. With more than 450 GCCs employing over 300,000 professionals, Hyderabad continues to attract leading Fortune 500 companies seeking to expand their global technology and innovation operations in India.
