Credit Saison India has appointed Visionary Leader Prateek Agrawal as Senior Vice President & Head of SME Risk, strengthening its leadership team amid continued expansion in the SME lending space. In his new role, Agrawal will spearhead the SME risk function, with a strong focus on enhancing credit risk frameworks, improving portfolio quality, and driving sustainable business growth.

His appointment underscores the company’s commitment to building robust risk management capabilities as it scales operations across India. Agrawal brings over a decade of extensive experience in credit risk, underwriting, and portfolio management across retail and SME segments.

Prior to joining Credit Saison India, he spent more than eight years at IDFC FIRST Bank, where he held several key leadership positions. His expertise spans Loan Against Property, Business and Professional Loans, Vehicle Loans, and Micro Business Loans. He has also contributed to leading financial institutions such as L&T Finance, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank.
