Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) has appointed Jay Shah as Senior Director, further enhancing its capabilities in mergers and acquisitions, transaction advisory, financial due diligence, and private equity advisory services.

Shah brings extensive experience in the financial services sector, having advised leading private equity firms, multinational corporations, and strategic investors on more than 150 transactions throughout his career. Prior to joining A&M, he spent over eight years with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP, where he advanced to the role of Director and played a key role in delivering transaction and value-creation advisory services.

Before Deloitte, Shah held advisory positions at KPMG and began his professional journey with Deloitte Haskins & Sells LLP. Over the years, he has built strong expertise across financial analysis, audit, transaction services, and deal execution.

His appointment reflects Alvarez & Marsal’s continued focus on strengthening its leadership team and expanding its capabilities to support clients navigating complex transactions, growth opportunities, and strategic business transformations.
