Intel Corporation has announced the appointment of Aparna Bawa as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal & People Officer. She will report directly to CEO Lip-Bu Tan and lead Intel’s global legal, ethics, compliance, and people functions as the company accelerates its transformation.

Aparna joins from Zoom, where she served as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing legal, operational, and people strategies during a period of rapid global growth. She is widely recognized for aligning governance, culture, and execution in high-growth technology environments.

In her new role, Aparna will focus on strengthening Intel’s legal and compliance framework while advancing a high-performance, people-centric culture aligned with long-term business priorities. Her leadership will be critical in shaping talent strategy, governance, and organizational agility.

Her appointment underscores Intel’s commitment to disciplined execution, accountability, and cultural transformation under Tan’s leadership. Bawa is set to join Intel in May.
