Cholamandalam MS General Insurance Company Limited (Chola MS) has announced the appointment of Rajive Kumaraswami as its new Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer, marking a significant leadership transition for the company.

A seasoned insurance industry leader, Rajive Kumaraswami brings more than two decades of experience across general insurance and reinsurance sectors. Prior to joining Chola MS, he served as Managing Director & CEO of Magma General Insurance, where he played a pivotal role in strengthening business growth, operational excellence, and market expansion.

Earlier, he was the Chief Representative of the India Liaison Office at SCOR, one of the world’s leading reinsurance groups, gaining extensive expertise in risk management and insurance strategy.
