Industry Veteran Nitin Arora Joins Bandhan Bank as Chief of Internal Vigilance

Nitin Arora has joined Bandhan Bank as Chief of Internal Vigilance, bringing more than 27 years of banking experience, including a long tenure with Axis Bank.

Before joining Bandhan Bank, Nitin spent over 27 years at Axis Bank, where he held senior leadership positions across vigilance, investigations and structured assets. He most recently served as Chief of Internal Vigilance from September 2023 to September 2026, following his earlier role as Senior Vice President and Group Head of the Structured Assets Group.

In his new role at Bandhan Bank, Nitin will contribute to the bank’s governance, vigilance and investigation framework, drawing on his experience in credit risk, commercial banking, relationship management, foreign exchange, vigilance and fraud investigations.

Nitin holds a PGPMX in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore. His extensive experience across banking operations, risk and vigilance adds to Bandhan Bank’s leadership capabilities as it continues to strengthen its governance framework.
