Caldic APAC has appointed Smita Shetty as Managing Director, India, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its footprint across India and the broader Asia-Pacific region. With nearly two decades of experience across Caldic, Connell Caldic, and UniColloids Impex Pvt. Ltd., Smita brings extensive expertise in specialty ingredients, commercial strategy, marketing, digital transformation, supplier partnerships, and business growth.

Over the years, she has led key initiatives across APAC marketing, food and nutrition, life sciences, industrial solutions, and core product portfolios. Known for building high-performing teams and driving strategic market expansion, Smita has played a significant role in enhancing customer engagement and accelerating business performance across complex industry segments.

In her new role, she is expected to lead Caldic India’s growth strategy, strengthen partner ecosystems, and drive long-term value creation.
